                 Pick Up Patrol

All parents must create an account with dismissal defaults by Friday, 10/30.  Every student should show a plan on their Homeroom teacher's page.  Paper Health Screenings will not be accepted on Monday, 11/2.  Health screenings will now need to be completed on Pick Up Patrol prior to the start of school on Monday mornings.  With regard to dismissal, once parents enter their default information, no further information is needed unless their is a change to a students dismissal--ex.: leaving early, going home by car, etc.  The change will be noted for that day and the plan should return to the default procedure the next day.
We are so close to having all students registered.

PickUp Patrol to identify how your child will be going home each day.  PickUp Patrol will also be used now for weekly screenings.

Important uniform notices were sent home by Mrs. McMahon on Thursday, 10/8.
The letter outlines when students will be expected to change over to their winter uniforms.

Important CONFIRMATION letters were sent home on Tuesday, 10/6.
Please make sure that all parents receive these letters from St. Mary Church.
They contain important information regarding the day of Confirmation.

Catholic High School Entrance Exam News:
Booklets were handed out on Monday, 9/21.  Please review these booklets as the process for the entrance exam has changed.  The former website (chsee.org) will send you to the new TACHS website.  I encourage you to go to the website or just click on the link below:

Mrs. McMahon received an email about an online High School Prep Course.  She asked us to share it with our 8th grade families since St. Mary School is not offering a course this year.  She has not used the program but thought families might be interested in checking out what this group is offering.

Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools (TACHS)
For over eighteen years, The TACHS Workshop has been offering review classes to seventh and eighth graders preparing to take the Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools. These workshops are designed to strengthen skills, reinforce concepts, and improve test performance. We offer instruction, review, and practice in reading, written expression, mathematics and reasoning. Experienced instructors teach all sessions.
